With the COVID-19 pandemic in full effect, most of us here in California are close to being fully quarantined. Most of everything is closed and we are suppose to stay at home unless we are going out for essential things; grocery shopping, exercise (walking, running), gas station, etc. It has been difficult at first because my life had been turned upside down. First, I am missing three (3) weeks of class instruction because my classes are suspended. Then, everything is closing and we are now “safer at home”. Not reporting to work because of the closures just made my life that much more abnormal.
After trying to get a hold of this new way of living I decided it was time to start getting on those home workouts. Gyms are closed so I have to purchase equipment from TRX. I already had some resistance bands at home, but there is some equipment that I just can’t live without so hello Amazon.
Next was to try and get my daily routine back on track. That was difficult because I let the stress of everything get the better of me. Staying on Instagram and seeing everyone out in the world running, I decided it was time to get back on track. Plus, my classes were going back to being active and online. I worked hard to get ahead in my classes to help lessen the stress. Then again, I was so stressed out I didn’t get any work done until recently.
Without further delay I will be sharing my semi-quarantined life with you. I hope that all of you are staying safe and healthy during this time. We are all in this together.
